The City of Rochester is within the City of Rochester Hills.

In addition to the numerous single-family residential housing opportunities several condominiums are available to consider such as: Maple Creek Village, Cross Creek Village, Condor Lofts on Main, Copper Creek Village and the Mill Race townhouse style condominiums at Mill Street.

Some of the local anchors are Ascension Hospital, Oakland University, Rochester University, Stoney Creek High School, Rochester High School and Rochester Adams High School, the alma mater for Madonna, the entertainer. The Rochester Public Schools are some of the best in the state. Annually Rochester hosts the Fire and Ice Festival, Farmer’s Markets, Heritage Festival, Music in the Park programs, Rockin’ Rods Car Show, Soap Box Derby, Movies in the Moonlight, Arts and Apples Festival (every Labor Day weekend), the must-attend Lagniappe (the Monday before Thanksgiving), followed by the annual Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade. Downtown Main Street is perfect for strolling and window shopping or stopping in for dinner at Kruse and Muer on Main.
